Their patrons are asked to leave their shoes when entering the “restaurant”. You can experience the traditional kamayan stlye way of eating with their local cuisines such as fishes, chickens, barbecues, and a selection of fresh fruits. There is something detoxifying while eating surrounded by nature and the flow of fresh water rushing beneath you.
Hinatuan Enchanted River
Also known as the Hinatuan Holy River is a deep spring river that is situated on the island of Mindanao. This is one of the most popular places in Surigao del Sur, and it is rightfully so since it demonstrates a pristine body of water, you will immediately see the sapphire blue color of the water just like some precious gemstones. Due to its popularity with tourists, the government has prohibited the use of it for swimming purposes to keep its cleanliness.
Sinking Bell Tower
The sinking bell tower of St. William’s Cathedral is located at Laoag, it is famous for its mysterious activity. The tower is believed to be sinking for about an inch each year, hence its name the sinking tower. There aren’t still any conclusive evidence as to why this happens but it is believed that the reason why the tower is sinking is because it is made on a sandy setting that cannot support the weight of the structure.
